Mornings are so busy these days. Although maybe, it doesn't have to be that way.

Being a mom of a 1 and a 3 year old, I need to get better about prioritizing my time. And in the mornings, I will always prioritize my sleep. Which means that most of the time, I end up waking up very soon before I need to leave for work the next day.

Luckily, I make this Chocolate Granola pretty often. This means that I can just grab a ziplock bag full of this granola, take a yogurt cup with me and eat my breakfast when I get to work. It is truly a lifesaver on mornings where I need to be out of the door quickly.

Tips

Storage: Let the granola cool, then store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Use different nuts. If you are allergic to tree nuts, try using peanuts, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds.

Don't have maple syrup? Swap it out for any other liquid sweetener you may have, like honey or agave syrup.
