Mango season is here!

I am all about that mango flavor, so I am trying to take advantage of the next couple of months as much as I can. Starting with this frozen mango daiquiri cocktail.

While I am still pregnant, my husband is going to be enjoying this without me. But rest assured. I taste tested this recipe many times before I got pregnant, and I am only just finding the time to write up the recipe.

So if you are looking for a quick and easy alcoholic drink recipe to bring to your next cocktail party, or just to enjoy on a hot summer night, this is the drink for you!

Frozen Mango Daiquiri Ingredients

You just need 6 simple ingredients to make this Mango Cocktail. All you need is:

  • lime juice
  • any type of rum
  • ice cubes
  • lemon lime carbonated beverage

Tips

Make sure that you use a powerful blender. There is nothing worse than getting a chunk of ice when trying to drink a frozen daiquiri. If your blender is not very powerful, I would recommend using crushed ice instead of the cubes for a smoother blend.

Add a garnish. I love decorating this easy mango daiquiri with a lime wedge or lime slices, but mango slices on a long toothpick or a maraschino cherry will look just as lovely.

Variations

Use your favorite fresh fruits! Instead of using frozen ingredients, use fresh mangoes. However, you may need to add more ice to keep the slushy consistency. But if you don't have ripe mangoes, use whatever tropical fruits you have on hand! I love using fresh pineapple or strawberry, but really any fruit works.

Experiment with different types of rum. I tend to use white rum in this recipe, but I have made it with light rum and coconut rum with a lot of success.

Make a virgin mango daiquiri. Simply omit the rum and add a little more of the lemon lime carbonated beverage.
