Ninja Creami Sprite Slushie
This Ninja Creami Sprite Slushie is made in a Deluxe Ninja Creami Machine. It's such a quick and easy refreshing drink idea!
Another functionality of the Ninja Creami Deluxe that I am currently experimenting with: the Slushi function.
I am not someone who wants the latest and greatest...anything. I will keep my old phone for years, I don't need a new car and I've had my laptop since 2010. But when I saw that Ninja was releasing a Ninja SLUSHI machine.. I don't know. When it comes to kitchen items I feel like I really need to have it.
But then I thought, hang on. My Ninja Creami Deluxe has a Slushi option, so why don't I test that out before looking into buying a new kitchen appliance. And now that I've made this Ninja Creami Sprite Slushie recipe, I honestly think I don't need another big appliance in my kitchen. It came out so good, I am going to have to experiment with more Slushi recipes going forward.

Tips
Try another soda. Instead of Sprite, you can use whatever carbonated beverage you like. I would however recommend a high sugar content, and not the diet varieties. You may ruin your machine if you use a soda with a lower sugar content, as it will freeze into a more solid block of ice, making your machine work harder to turn it into a slushie.
Make sure that you allow the Sprite to go flat. If it isn't flat, when you freeze it, the liquid will expand and could ruin both your pint container or your Ninja Creami machine.
Add some additional flavor. Want to experiment with different flavors? Try adding in syrups to the mix! I particularly like Cherry or Coconut syrup.

Ninja Creami Sprite Slushie
Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cup Sprite
Instructions
- Pour the Sprite into the Ninja Creami pint. Place in the fridge uncovered for at least 24 hours, or until flat.
- Cover and place in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
- When ready to drink, pour more Sprite to the DRINKABLE POUR-IN line.
- Place the pint in the Ninja Creami and set to Slushi.
- Pour into 1 large glass or 2 small glasses and enjoy!
