Easy Turtles Oatmeal recipe. Made with only 5 ingredients, this decadent breakfast idea is like dessert in the morning.

Turtles Oatmeal

Now that Thanksgiving is over, can we start thinking about Christmas?

Whenever I think about Christmas, I think of Turtles chocolates. My mom would buy them every Christmas, and it was one of my favourite things about the season. So to get me in the Christmas spirit before buying the actual chocolates, I thought I would make some Turtles Oatmeal.

What you need to make Turtles Oatmeal

You don't need much to make this decadent breakfast! All you need is:

  • milk
  • old fashioned oats
  • cocoa powder
  • caramel sauce
  • pecans

That's it!

Variations

This might be my favourite oatmeal combo yet just because it brings back good memories of Turtles chocolates. But if you don't have pecans, any kind of nuts would do. This would be very good with walnuts or cashews.

Also, for the sauce, you can always use chocolate sauce or brown sugar sauce if you have that. I omitted sugar in this recipe, so you if you opt for no sauce, you will need to add a sweetener. Brown sugar would taste great in place of the caramel sauce!
