Ninja Creami Pineapple Sorbet

Last week, on my weekly grocery trip, I impulse bought a couple of cans of pineapples. I had nothing in mind in terms of a recipe when I bought them. They were just on sale so I thought that surely I will find a way to use them soon enough.

Well, that night I put some in my Ninja Creami containers and froze them. And this Ninja Creami Pineapple Sorbet was the delicious result.

I can't believe how easy this sorbet is to make. With just one ingredient, you can get a super creamy and delicious sorbet. I might just keep a frozen pint of this sorbet in the freezer at all times in case the pineapple craving strikes. You can bet that I am going to be making this Ninja Creami sorbet all summer long.

Ninja Creami Pineapple Sorbet Ingredients

The only ingredients that you need for this creamy sorbet is:

  • 1 can of pineapple chunks (with the pineapple juice included)

Tips

Use fresh pineapple! If you don't have canned pineapple, you can always use fresh! Just make sure that you add some more pineapple juice to ensure a smoother and less bitter sorbet.

Freeze on a level surface. ​Make sure that you place pint on a level surface in your freezer. This ensures that the fruit is completely submerged in the liquid, and that the the blade won't get damaged when it is time to process the Creami.

Experiment with different variations. ​Try adding some fresh strawberries or blueberries for a different flavor combo. Or switch up the liquid to coconut milk for a creamier sorbet.

  • 1 20 oz can pineapple chunks in juice

Instructions

  • Pour all the contents of the pineapple chunks can into your Ninja Creami pint. Cover and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  • Place the frozen pint container in the Ninja Creami machine and set to sorbet. Once done, scoop into bowls and enjoy!
