Toasted Almond Granola

It's the last day of classes today!!
I tell you, having classes that only last for 3 weeks sounds good on paper, but actually doing them? Wowza, they sure pack a whole course into such a short amount of time.

So this post is going to be short and sweet, so I can celebrate never having to take an exam in my LIFE. That's right! I graduate in May! Right after my practicum.
So to start off my day, I made one of the quickest and easiest recipes ever. So enjoy! I'll be doing more complicated recipes later, I promise.

What you need to make this Toasted Almond Granola
- old fashioned oats
- sliced almonds
- salted butter
- honey
- brown sugar
- vanilla extract

Toasted Almond Granola

Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoon salted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Place the oats and almonds on a cookie sheet and broil for 1 minute. Turn off the oven.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add in the honey, brown sugar and vanilla, and stir in for around 1-2 minutes. Add in the oat mixture and stir in until the oats are coated.
- Return to the cookie sheet and bake at 300°F for around 20 minutes.
