Toasted Almond Granola

- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Place the oats and almonds on a cookie sheet and broil for 1 minute. Turn off the oven.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan on medium heat. Add in the honey, brown sugar and vanilla, and stir in for around 1-2 minutes. Add in the oat mixture and stir in until the oats are coated.
Return to the cookie sheet and bake at 300°F for around 20 minutes.
