I feel like a lot of people buy a Ninja Creami machine strictly to make protein ice cream recipes. The machine makes enjoying a creamy treat and reaching your fitness goals achievable.

I hate to say it, but I haven't experimented with protein recipes as much as I would like. I have made many full fat, "regular" ice cream recipes in the Ninja Creami. But among the little bit of recipes that I have experimented with, I think this Ninja Creami Cinnamon Protein Ice Cream is my personal favorite.

This low calorie ice cream is such a delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth. I can definitely see why protein ice creams are so popular now. You'll find me making this ice cream all summer long.

Ninja Creami Cinnamon Protein Ice Cream Ingredients

You probably already have the 6 simple ingredients needed to make this protein-packed ice cream. All you need is:

  • milk
  • unflavored or vanilla protein powder
  • vanilla pudding mix (regular or sugar free pudding mix)
  • brown sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • ground cinnamon

Tips

Make it vegan. Replace the milk with a non-dairy milk. I particularly like either oat milk or coconut milk for a more creamy ice cream. Soy milk or unsweetened almond milk works as well, but won't be as creamy. You would also need to make sure that the protein powder is vegan. I particularly like pea protein for a vegan protein powder.

Make Cinnamon Roll Protein Ice Cream. For more of a cinnamon flavor, try using a cinnamon roll protein powder. I would recommend this protein powder. You could also add in some icing to the mix-ins for a decadent treat.

Is it too powdery? If you find that the texture is too powdery after the first spin, add a little splash of milk and set the machine to re-spin.
