The Ninja Creami machine is probably one of the best things that I have ever bought.

Okay, so I didn't technically buy it. My husband gave it to me for our anniversary a couple of years ago. But the best part about this gift is that I can make all of my favorite ice cream flavors in no time. I always hated my regular ice cream machine because you had to freeze this huge ice cream base that takes up basically half of my freezer. With the Ninja Creami, all you need to do is freeze the Ninja Creami pint which doesn't take nearly as much space. And it makes such creamy ice cream, I use my machine at least 4 times a week.

This Ninja Creami Mint Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream is a family favorite right now. My 4 year old loves the green color, while I love the minty taste and the chunks of chocolate. It's a great recipe for any time of the year, but we will definitely be making this for dessert on Christmas!

Tips

Add more mint flavor. If you like your mint ice cream extra minty, try adding in a crushed mint cookie, or instead of the chocolate chips, use Andes chocolate mints.

What Ninja Creami ice cream maker to use? I personally use the Ninja Creami Deluxe, but this recipe works with a regular Ninja Creami machine as well.

Mix in your favorite mix-ins. Instead of the chocolate chunks, you can add any personal favorite mix-ins. I love mini chocolate chips or chopped Oreos. Make sure that before you add the mix-ins, you make a hole using a butter knife to the bottom of the pint. That way when you add in mix-ins, they will be more evenly distributed. Then just use the mix-in function and you have your unique creation!

Get a more creamy texture: If you like the ice cream more like soft serve, add some more full fat milk after the first spin, then press respin. Keep doing this until you reach your desired creamy consistency.
