This Ninja Creami Blueberry Watermelon Sorbet is the essence of summer in a bowl, and I won't be told otherwise.

I am a huge fan of watermelon, and during the summer months I always have some leftover watermelon in the fridge. So can you think of a more perfect way to enjoy the summer flavors than with a big bowl of this sorbet? All of my hot summer days are going to be spent making different recipes in my NInja Creami ice cream maker. But because this healthy recipe was loved by the whole family, I think this is going to be made on repeat during the next couple of weeks.

Tips

Make different fruit sorbets. You can make some of the best Ninja Creami sorbet recipes with this base recipe. Experiment with a different type of fruit in this recipe! I particularly love making a honeydew sorbet or a cantaloupe sorbet by using those melons along with your favorite juice. I prefer fresh lemon juice with some sugar or maple syrup added to it, but you can use lemonade if you like.

Don't be afraid to use the re-spin button. If after the first spin the sorbet still looks icy, just press the re-spin button until you attain a thicker sorbet consistency.

Can I use frozen fruit? While I prefer fresh fruit, frozen fruit can be used as well. Just make sure that the liquid covers the fruit when the pint container is on a level surface to avoid damaging the machine.
