I am never going to eat regular ice cream again.

Owning this Ninja Creami machine has been a game changer. Now I can have homemade ice cream in no time at all. Plus, you can customize it with different flavors and milks to however you like your ice cream. Craving some light ice cream? The Ninja Creami will make it for you, and give it the most perfect texture ever. Light ice cream from the grocery store is always powdery and gives you a weird taste in your mouth.

This Ninja Creami Lite Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream is a recipe that I have been making over and over these past few months. It is so good and not powdery at ALL. Plus, you can eat the entire pint and not feel guilty. It is truly the best dessert.

Ninja Creami Lite Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream Ingredients

This homemade chocolate ice cream recipe is just made with 2 simple ingredients. All you need is:

  • low fat chocolate milk
  • sugar free chocolate pudding mix

Equipment

A bowl of dark brown creamy Ninja Creami Lite Chocolate Pudding Ice Cream, with the scoops clearly showing the velvety texture of the frozen treat.

Tips

Add some mix-ins. This makes a great ice cream base recipe, but if you wanted to take this recipe up a notch, try adding in some mix-ins! I love adding chocolate chips and crushed Oreo cookies, but you can get creative with your favorite mix-ins!

Make it vegan. There are so many good almond milk and oat milk based chocolate milks on the market these days! Alternatively, you can get this shelf stable pea protein chocolate milk from Amazon that is pretty tasty too.

Don't have chocolate milk? Make your own! Just mix some whole milk (or lower fat milk option) with cocoa powder and sugar to your desired sweetness level.

Processing it in the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Machine: make sure to use the lite ice cream button when making this ice cream. If it is still powdery after the first spin, hit the re-spin button for a second spin. Or add some additional liquid to give it a creamy texture, almost like soft serve ice cream.

What Ninja Creami ice cream maker to use: I scaled this recipe so that you can use it in either of the Ninja Creami machines on the market. I personally use the Ninja Creami deluxe, but you can also make this in the Original Ninja Creami machine.
