Okay, so I think we are going to call this my transitional recipe from cold weather to warmer weather.

This is my first year living in Wisconsin, and it seems like the weather is extremely cold for half the year. Until it's not. Then it's very hot. And I think this is the week where it's making that shift.

So we're combining my favourite cold-weather breakfast: oatmeal, and my favourite warm-weather drink: taro bubble tea. Here is my Taro Bubble Tea Oatmeal. Am I going to be the only one who actually likes this? Maybe. But here's a recipe in case there are other crazies out there who want bubble tea for breakfast.

Variations

This recipe is extremely versatile. I mean, if you don't want to add in tapioca pearls, you definitely don't need to.

You can also switch out the taro powder with whatever flavoured powder you have. I love hot chocolate mix, or cookie butter powdered mix. But anything you have on hand would work too.
