This easy S'moreos recipe combines crunchy Oreo cookies, gooey marshmallows and melted chocolate chips for the ultimate summer dessert.

The first time I posted a photo of these S'moreos a while ago on my Instagram story, and a lot of people started asking me for the recipe. Honestly, I didn't think I would post this recipe because it is basically like regular s'mores, but instead of graham crackers I am using Oreos. But by popular demand, here is the recipe written out.

Okay, so I guess technically it isn't like regular s'mores because I make these in the oven instead of a campfire. BUT, I have also made these over a campfire with chocolate bars instead of chocolate chips and they turned out just as good, if not better.

I promise you, these delicious treats will become your new favorite summer dessert recipe. It is definitely one of mine!

S'moreos Ingredients

You only need 3 ingredients to make these s'mores Oreos. All you need is:

  • Oreo cookies
  • chocolate chips
  • large marshmallows

That's it! I mean, I feel like you could probably make it even without scrolling down to look at the full recipe.

Tips

Make them with s'moreo cookies! If you are lucky enough to find some of the limited edition S'moreo sandwich cookies on the shelf, use those for an extra s'mores flavor. If you can't find the limited-edition cookies in your grocery stores, try a graham-flavored sandwich cookie or any other creme filled cookie for a new flavor combination.

Use an open flame to roast the marshmallows. Instead of baking them, roast marshmallows over a fire until they are golden brown - just like a regular s'mores!

Swap out the marshmallow. Instead of the large sized marshmallows, use marshmallow-flavored creme. You could also use peeps if you are making it closer to Easter.
