Fudge has got to be my favorite holiday treat. I make it every Christmas, and it's such a great sweet treat to gift to friends and neighbors.

But why does fudge need to be a Christmas treat? With the weather as hot as it is, I think that this no bake treat should be a staple in your kitchen all year round. Especially this Nutella Fudge.

This 3 ingredient fudge recipe is so easy to make, I have already made it twice this month. The first time I made it, I knew that I needed to make it a second time, then a third time, then...

Even my mother in law, who doesn't like fudge, says that it is the best fudge that she has ever tried.

If that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will. Nothing beats a creamy chocolate fudge, and this one is a winner.

Nutella Fudge Ingredients

You just need 3 simple ingredients to make this easy fudge recipe. All you need is:

  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup of Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk

Equipment

  • 9x9 inch baking dish (or 8-inch baking pan if you like a taller fudge)
  • parchment paper (or non-stick tin foil)
  • microwave-safe mixing bowl
  • silicone spatula

A small plate with Nutella Fudge and a jar of Nutella in the background.

Tips

Storage: you can store this fudge in an airtight container in the fridge or at room temperature. It will last for 3 weeks in the fridge and 2 weeks at room temperature.

Freezing: fudge freezes very well, however it is important that you don't let the fudge be exposed to the freezer air. First, cut into whatever sized pieces of fudge you like. Then wrap each piece in plastic wrap, then place in a freezer bag.

Variations

Use different chocolate chips. I love making this homemade fudge with semi-sweet chocolate chips, but you can replace it with anything really. Since we want it to mimic Nutella, I would suggest using either dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips. BIttersweet chocolate chips works well if you want a deeper chocolate flavor.

Enhance the hazelnut flavor. Add in some hazelnut extract and some whole hazelnuts to the fudge mixture.

Top with favorite toppings. If you like a sweet and salty combo, sprinkle with some flakey sea salt. Alternatively, use seasonal sprinkles, so that you can use this fudge to celebrate every holiday.
