Here are two things that I don't do often: go to McDonalds and buy refrigerator biscuits. And yet, here it is. A recipe that combines both of these experiences.

But when I went to McDonalds and tried their cinnamon melts for the first time, I thought: there must some way to make this at home! Because I don't live close enough to a McDonalds to justify taking a trip there just to get another taste of these delicious cinnamon melts!

Along with the McDonalds cinnamon melts, I am also a huge fan of recipes that take 30 minutes or less to make. Especially when the recipe can be made in the morning in the time I take to get ready for work. That way when I am ready to walk out the door, I can enjoy a warm breakfast of something resembling cinnamon rolls, but WAY easier to make!

I mean, one of the reasons I don't make cinnamon rolls is because they take so freaking long. Well my friends, that is a problem of the past!

I might just start buying those pillsbury biscuits more often, so I can make this over and over. For lazy weekend mornings, or for when you have unexpected guests, this recipe is sure to please.

Now I'm off to make another batch! Who said there is no time to bake on the weekdays? They obviously never tried this recipe!

I made these for my kids this morning. They said they are BETTER than McDs melts!!! Thank you so much, and I might have licked the pan. 😉

    1. Haha, I am also guilty of licking the pan! I am glad you and your kids enjoyed it!

I just finished making these and they are delicious! They taste very close to the originals from McDonald's. The recipe was also pretty easy to follow; I'll be making these again soon! 😀

  3. Now that McD's no longer carries Cinnamelts, THIS is the way to be sure you don't get deprived of the delicious yummy treat! Thanks!

  4. Oh goodness....these look so good! I usually do not make at home either...cause they take too long. I have to try these. My family would love them!

  5. I totally get you. I like to think of myself as someone who would prefer to make things from scratch - and I am - but that doesn't mean that stuff like these cinnamon rolls aren't incredibly tasty. Those people spend a lot of time and money researching how to make things appealing. My downfall is Cool Whip. Woah, it just occurred to me ... I could probably put Cool Whip on these...

  6. Now I know it's been a long time since I've been to McDonalds 🙂 They look amazing! What a delicious treat for a weekend breakfast.

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Yes, I have had these treats at McDonalds but not for a long time. Very tempting. I had some delicious meals and a lovely tea while visiting your city in September!!

    Best,
    Bonnie
