Still at home, using up all of the ingredients I can find around the house.

It's a good thing I bought 10 lbs of oats back in November. I am still working my way through those, though these days it seems like I am going through it at an alarming rate.

And in the back of my cupboard, what do I find but a container of raisins? Most people's most hated food is my treasure. Raisins in oatmeal is my new quarantine staple.

And just when you thought oatmeal and raisins couldn't be beat. I come up with Coffee Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal.

Okay, so maybe I'm in the minority of people who think raisons are good. But in a quarantine, I am sure you would eat anything you find around your house just to delay having to go to the grocery store.

Since I have found these raisins in my house, I have made all sorts of goodies: oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookies, raisin and coconut pumpkin bread and now this oatmeal on repeat.

If you are wondering whether or not to make this oatmeal, I would say: DO IT. Even if you don't like raisins, just omit them! Or replace them with chocolate. Whatever you have on hand really!

My usual morning routine is a cup of coffee + a jar of overnight oatmeal. Now I can skip the coffee with this, though a double dose of coffee doesn't sound too bad either. 😉
