If you know me and my breakfast habits, you know that I am always looking to fit in some Nutella in the morning. Be it in granolabanana bread or pancakes, I am looking for any possible excuse to have chocolate for breakfast.

Heck, most days my breakfast consists of me taking a spoon and scooping half a scoop of Nutella and half a scoop of peanut butter into my mouth. 

Trust me, if you haven't tried that combo in the morning, you need to give it a go!

Seeing as how I'm making a TON of oatmeal recipes, it was inevitable that Nutella and oatmeal should come into one fantasticly easy recipe in my kitchen.

Peanut Butter Nutella Microwave Oatmeal

Easy Peanut Butter Nutella Microwave Oatmeal is so comforting and quick to make. One of my favourite go-to breakfast recipes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup quick oats
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chunky peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon Nutella
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl, mix together the oats and milk. Microwave for 1 ½ minutes, and let stand in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Remove the bowl from the microwave and mix in the peanut butter and Nutella until fully incorporated. Top with peanuts if using. Enjoy!

    This sounds like something my husband would really like. He struggles to put weight on, so I think this recipe might help with that too! Sounds delicious!

    1. Haha, that sounds like a problem most people would want. But this oatmeal is a great way to get your calories in 😉
