Easter Bark

Easy Easter Bark recipe. This simple dessert idea is an easy way to make a last minute sweet treat using your favorite Easter candies.

Less than 1 week until Easter. Of course I'm making a festive Easter treat today.

One of my favorite things about Easter is the access I get to Mini Eggs. Cadbury mini eggs might be one of my favorite ways of eating chocolate ever. When I am talking about leftover Easter Candy, it never includes mini eggs. Those are gone within seconds.

This Easter Bark didn't last long in my house at all. Every time I went to the fridge to get something, I always ended up pulling out a piece (or two) to snack on. This is such a fun Easter treat, you'll be making it again for sure.

Easter Bark Ingredients

You just need 5 simple ingredients to make this Pretzel Easter Egg Bark Recipe. All you need is:

  • semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • white chocolate chips
  • coconut oil
  • pretzels
  • Cadbury mini eggs

That's it!

Tips

Storage: You can store this Easter Chocolate Bark in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend storing it at room temperature, just to ensure that the chocolate doesn't melt if you have a particularly hot day.

Make sure you use parchment paper on your cookie sheet! The melted chocolate WILL stick to the large baking sheet you may be using, even if you use cooking spray. Using parchment paper (or wax paper) can help prevent this.

Variations

Top it with whatever toppings you like! I personally love the mini chocolate eggs, but you can switch them up for your favorite easter candy. Adding some Easter sprinkles, jelly beans, mini marshmallows or even some mini chocolate bunnies would make for a tasty treat.

Use this recipe for other holidays. Bookmark this recipe for a good homemade chocolate bark base recipe. Then switch up the toppings depending on what holiday you are celebrating. For Christmas, I love adding festive sprinkles and candy canes. Use your imagination, this recipe is so versatile you can easily make it your own.

Try different kinds of chocolates. Instead of the semi-sweet, try either dark chocolate or milk chocolate. Or just leave out the darker chocolate altogether, double the white chocolate chips and make this into white chocolate Easter bark. You can have a different recipe every time you make it!
