If you haven't tried peanut butter chips, you are missing out!!

My husband can't stand most forms of peanut butter. But when it's in a chip form? Well, all I'm going to say is that I have seen him eat them out of the bag on more occasions than I can count.

Now put it in some blondies and we've got ourselves a killer dessert.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, whisking frequently. Watch for brown specks and nutty aroma.
  • Once the butter smells nutty, pour into a large bowl to stop the butter from cooking.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with peanut butter chips.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out mostly clean.
