Do you drink iced drinks all year round?

For some reason, I only drink iced drinks during the summer. As soon as cooler weather rolls around, all I want is tea, hot chocolate or coffee.

So this Vital Proteins Iced Matcha Latte might be one of my last iced latte drinks for a while.

Though I think I may have iced coffee drinks by accident when I have the baby in November. I always hear from moms that after the baby arrives, they no longer eat anything hot anymore. It is either lukewarm or cold.

Although as a food blogger, that is sort of my life already.

What do you need to make this Vital Proteins Iced Matcha Latte?

It's really super easy, it almost doesn't need a place on my blog as a recipe. Almost. Because I know I will be going back here to check exactly how I made it. All you need is:

  • hot water
  • matcha collagen
  • stevia
  • ice
  • milk

I even added the water and ice as ingredients just to make the list longer. That is seriously all you need!

I'm probably only going to be making this Vital Proteins Iced Matcha Latte for the next couple of weeks until it really starts to cool down. But if you are someone who loves iced lattes all year round, try my Iced Matcha Latte or my Cinnamon Iced Latte. They are what got me through the summer heat this year!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling hot water
  • 1 scoop Matcha collagen
  • 1 packet stevia
  • 5 ice cubes
  • ½ cup milk of choice

Instructions

  • In a mason jar, mix together the water, matcha collagen and stevia. Add in the ice cubes.
  • Pour the milk in a separate mason jar. Cover and shake until frothy.
  • Pour the frothy milk on top of the matcha and enjoy!

Notes

I have found that almond milk doesn't froth very well using this method. Whole milk or oat milk if you want it dairy free is preferable.
