I had no idea that I would like my Ninja Slushi machine as much as I do. After making my Ninja Slushi Rum and Coke recipe on repeat for the past couple of months, I knew that I needed to make something for the kids. Since it has been super hot lately, and we needed something cool and fun for them to drink this summer.

This Ninja Slushi Chocolate Milkshake is such an easy recipe to make. Since the first day I made it, the kids have been asking me every day to make it again. And honestly, I don't mind! I used to make my Ninja Creami Frozen Hot Chocolate recipe, but it doesn't make as much and you need so much forethought when you want to do that. While I still make that recipe often, this Ninja Slushi milkshake is quickly becoming my go-to dessert drink to make during these hotter days.

  • White sugar: Freezing will cause it to taste less sweet, additional sugar is required. Can substitute your sweetener of choice.

How To Make 2 Ingredient Ninja Slushi Chocolate Milkshake

Step 1: In a large bowl or large liquid measuring cup, mix together the chocolate milk and the sugar until the sugar has dissolved.

Step 2: Pour into your Ninja Slushi vessel, then choose the Milkshake preset. Once the machine beeps, serve immediately. Top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, if desired.

2 Ingredient Ninja Slushi Chocolate Milkshake Expert Tips

Drink with a boba straw. Because this recipe creates a very thick milkshake, it is best to drink it with Boba straws. You can drink it with regular straws, but it is very difficult.

Adjust the sweetness. If you find this recipe too sweet or are using an ultra-filtered chocolate milk (like Fairlife), you can scale the sugar down to ½ cup.

Enjoy the drink within 30 minutes of making it. To avoid changing the texture of the drink, make sure you dispense the drink within half an hour of making it.

Do not use fat-free milk. Low-fat or skim chocolate milks will not get as thick and creamy as they lack the necessary fat content to give it the classic milkshake texture.

Make sure you run the rinse cycle immediately after dispensing the drink. The sugar and dairy can get sticky quickly inside the vessel.

  3. Start a rinse cycle immediately after dispensing the last bit of milkshake. Sugar and dairy can make the vessel very sticky, so rinsing it quickly will help with easy cleanup.
  4. Use full-fat milk to ensure you get the creamiest milkshake.
  5. Adjust the sweetness to your liking. If you think it is too sweet or are using ultra-filtered milk (like Fairlife) you can reduce the sweetener to ½ cup.
