After having a baby at the very end of November, I didn't really have time to prepare Christmas themed recipes.

But now that we have (sort of) settled into a routine, here I am getting ahead of the game. Valentine's Day recipes 1 month in advance. I am actually pretty proud of myself.

So here's a Valentine's Day Cupcake Oatmeal. Because I make oatmeal for every occasion.

From my Peppermint Mocha Oatmeal for Christmas, to my Easter Chocolate Matcha Oatmeal. I want to make sure that I have all of my holidays covered when it comes to my oatmeal.

What do you need to make this Valentine's Day Cupcake Oatmeal?

Not much at all. This is what you will need:

  • milk
  • rolled oats
  • chia seeds
  • frosting (I used premade one, but you can use your favourite recipe)
  • valentine's day sprinkles

  • Heat the milk in a small saucepan. Add in the oats and chia seeds. Bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  • Pour the oatmeal into a bowl, and top with the frosting. Sprinkle with sprinkles.
