Ready to see what my breakfast was for the past week?

Oatmeal always reminds me of my childhood. Every winter, my dad would make oatmeal in the microwave right before he left for work. So when me and my siblings would wake up in the morning, there would be some warm oatmeal waiting for us in the microwave.

I have actually tried making oatmeal in the microwave, but it overflowed. Not only once, EVERY time I tried making it.

But don't dismay, I found a no-fail method to get my oatmeal fix, while still being on time for work. And that is to make it on the stove.

  1. When I try making oatmeal in the microwave, it always overflows too. I don't get it. Do people use like a giant bowl or something? I stick to making it on the stove top just like this! Perfections!

  2. One of the few things my hubby cooks is oatmeal. He just started using half milk for his cooking liquid when he asked how he could make it creamier. I'm going to have him try all milk next time like you did 🙂
