This year, I thought that the Easter Bunny would be bringing the kids Peeps marshmallows. Well, it turns out that I love making things with Peeps too much that the kids will not be getting any this year. At least, not in their Easter basket. I WILL however be making a lot of Peeps treats!

This Peeps S'mores Dip might be one of my favorite things that I have made with Peeps so far. It is so easy to make, and it is such a fun way to use up Peeps over the Easter season. I am already looking forward to making this again with all the other marshmallow shapes that Peeps comes up with over the next couple of holiday seasons. It's such a fun twist to your regular Smore's dip, I know that I am going to be making this over and over again these next couple of weeks.

Peeps S'mores Dip Ingredients

This Peep S'mores Dip is just made with 3 ingredients (4 if you count the cookies for dipping!). All you need is:

  • salted butter
  • chocolate chips
  • Peeps bunnies or chicks
  • honey graham crackers

Tips

Storage: Store any leftover s'mores dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. To reheat, just place in the oven at 400 degrees with aluminum foil covering the top, and heat for 5-7 minutes.

Try different types of chocolate. I like using semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips, but you can just as easily use white chocolate chips for a sweeter dip, or dark chocolate chips for a more rich chocolate flavor. Chopped chocolate bars or peanut butter cups also work great for the melted chocolate.

Use your favorite dippers. In place of honey graham crackers, cinnamon graham crackers or chocolate graham crackers work so well as a dipper. My toddler likes using teddy grahams, but it does get a little messy. I have found that vanilla wafers also make great dippers.

Don't have peeps? Swap them out for regular marshmallows! I find that the large marshmallows work the best, so that you can have the most gooey marshmallows after it is done in the oven.
