This easy Peeps Coffee recipe is only made with 3 ingredients, making it the perfect coffee drink for your Easter morning.
Between making Easter baskets and prepping Easter celebrations for this weekend, I am tired! We spent more money than I would like to admit on Easter candy, and I am not sure that I am ready for the sugar high and subsequent crash my toddler is going to have over the weekend. I’m going to be living off of espresso drinks and coffee for the next week.
Speaking of coffee, this Peeps Coffee might replace my morning coffee while I can still get Peeps marshmallows in store. The sweet fluffy marshmallow mixed with strong hot coffee might be my new favorite thing to make for the Spring season.
Peeps Coffee Ingredients
This coffee is only made with 3 ingredients, there is no reason NOT to make it. All you need is:
- strong brewed hot coffee – you could also use a cold brew concentrate that you buy from your grocery store and heat up
- Peeps marshmallow chicks – the Peeps bunnies work as well, but you may need to add more/less to your preferred sweetness
- half and half cream – or flavored creamer of your choice
Tips
Make it an iced coffee. Make the recipe according to the recipe card, but them pour the coffee mixture over ice.
Experiment with new flavors. Instead of using peeps, try fruity marshmallows or just your typical marshmallows you usually get in stores. You could also add in some extracts, or switch out the cream to a flavored creamer.
Make sure that you microwave the Peeps in a very tall mug. Because Peeps expand a lot in the microwave, you will need a very tall glass to make sure that the marshmallow doesn’t overflow in the inside of your microwave. Regardless, you should always keep a close eye on it when it is in the microwave so you can pause it when it starts getting too big.

Peeps Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups hot coffee
- 2 Peeps marshmallows
- 2 Tbsp half and half cream
Instructions
- Pour the hot coffee into a coffee mug. Set aside.
- In a tall glass, add the Peeps and creamer. Place in a microwave and microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing until the marshmallows are melted.
- Pour the Peeps mixture over the coffee. Top with more Peeps if desired.
