One week until Halloween. Can you feel the excitement???

The principal at my school is getting all of the teachers costumes for Halloween, which means one less thing for me to worry about. For me, thinking up costume ideas is my least favourite part of Halloween. Give me all of the candy and decorations, but I feel all sorts of anxiety when it comes to thinking up a costume that both doesn't break the bank and that doesn't accidentally offend someone.

Another one of my favourite things about Halloween is the Halloween baking. Naturally.

I bought a couple of bags of gummy teeth a couple of weeks back, and have been snacking on them ever since. This is why Halloween is so dangerous for me. I am always surrounded by candy and I have zero self control. Like, none.

I was snacking on them mindlessly while watching Netflix this weekend when I thought that I should probably use these in my baking.

I mean, I already did that a couple of weeks ago with my Vampire Doughnuts. But now that I was getting to the bottom of my SECOND bag of gummies, I needed to slow down a bit and share with others.

Making these Peanut Butter Vampire Cookies was almost as fun as eating them. Almost.

You start with my favourite Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies, then you cut them in half and decorate them however you like. I opted for black icing because that was all I had at home. But feel free to make it with red icing to make it spookier. Red icing would definitely have been my first choice if I didn't have black icing that needed using.

So there you have it. Last minute Peanut Butter Vampire Cookies. Easy right?

Do you have any plans for Halloween? What are you making for Halloween treats? If you aren't making anything, what else should I make? I am always looking for new, fun ideas.
