Easy Peanut Butter Nutella Oatmeal recipe. This filling breakfast idea is quick and simple to make. Gluten free and vegan.
One of my students told me about a very large tub of Nutella that you can buy at Costco.
Now it’s all I can think about. But while I decide on whether or not I should buy it, I will be making this Peanut Butter Nutella Oatmeal. It will probably convince me that I should buy it, since I go through a small tub of Nutella every week, if not faster.
What you need to make Peanut Butter Nutella Oatmeal
This uses pantry essentials for me. All you need is:
- milk
- rolled oats
- chia seeds
- peanut butter
- Nutella
- peanuts
That’s it!
Tips
If you want a less creamy oatmeal, try using water instead of milk. I love a very thick oatmeal. Once that a spoon can stand straight up in. But if you are looking for a lighter version, all water or half water half milk would work well.
Don’t have chia seeds? No problem! Just leave them out, or replace them with flaxseed. It is just a little extra fibre to start the day.
Allergic to Nutella? Cookie butter works great in place of Nutella. Or leave it out completely and have a peanut butter oatmeal!

Peanut Butter Nutella Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp Nutella
- 1 Tbsp peanuts
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan. Add in the oats and chia seeds. Bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the oatmeal into a bowl. Top with peanut butter and drizzle with Nutella. Sprinkle the top with peanuts.
Yum! Peanut butter and nutella should be amazing in the oatmeal. Great idea for breakfast.
