Have you ever had those days where all you wanted to do is buy a huge tub of Nutella and eat it? Just grab it, and stick a fork, your hand, or your face inside the tub as though you were in some deliciously chocolaty eating contest!
While I am supposed to be doing homework that is due tomorrow (I still have time…) I am making cookies.
Otherwise I would be at my desk, practically drinking the Nutella out of the tub. And you don’t know how messy my homework gets when I bring over my delicious chocolate tub along.
Usually when I’m craving Nutella cookies, I will make my Nutella Drop Cookies. But this time, I wanted to try something different.

It seems like my posts have become a constant endorsement for Nutella. But I just really believe in this stuff. If it ever ran for president, I would vote for it hands down. Name it person of the year. I mean, the Higgs Boson was nominated to be the person of the year in the Times magazine. First of all, I read their article on the Higgs boson, and pretty much everything they were saying was wrong. Second of all..only like .001% of people care about this discovery, whereas everyone I know can appreciate some Nutella anytime.
These Oatmeal Nutella Cookies are perfect with a nice cup of coffee or tea. And so easy to make! There is no excuse NOT to make them!

Wow, craving some sweets. Found this recipe on Pinterest. Popped those bad boys in the oven, AMAZING! Loved them, and so easy!
Yay! This makes me so happy to hear 🙂
I’m going and leaving reviews for all the recipes I’ve baked during the last year and I have to say this is one of my TOP TOP recipes. The consistency of these cookies is chewy in the center and slightly crunchy on the outside, which makes for the perfect cookie IMO. I typically have unsalted butter in my house, so I usually add 1/4 tsp of salt and I’ll add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract as well. Thank you for sharing such a great recipe with us!
This comment makes me so happy!! I am so glad you liked them!! 🙂
Has anyone tried using just nutella and no butter? Just wondering…
Wow, loved these cookies! Delicious texture and flavor. And very easy to make – so this is definitely worth the effort. I had a huge jar of Nutella to use up, so I doubled the recipe and it worked great.
I will definitely make these again.
Yay! I am so glad you liked it 🙂
