It is really starting to feel like Spring around here, and I am so excited. I even went out without a jacket this weekend, which is really big news since on Monday everything was closed because of the snow. Ever since moving to the Midwest, I have been getting some serious whiplash from the weather around here. I never know what is going to happen on any given day. But right now, I am celebrating the warmer weather.

And with the warmer weather, I am making cold drinks. Transitioning from hot chocolate to this Ninja Creami Frozen Hot Chocolate only seemed fitting.

This drink is my new favorite drink to make in the Ninja Creami machine. I love experimenting with the different settings on my machine, and the Creamiccino is one that I rarely use. But now with this drink, it will probably be used every other day. It is that good.

Ninja Creami Frozen Hot Chocolate Ingredients

This Frozen Hot Chocolate recipe is just made with just 2 simple ingredients. All you need is:

  • milk
  • hot chocolate mix

Equipment

A glass filled with Ninja Creami Frozen Hot Chocolate, topped with whipped cream and a clear plastic straw sticking out of the thick drink.

Tips

Give it more of an intense chocolate flavor. Instead of milk, try using chocolate milk for more of a chocolate flavor.

Do not overfill. It is so easy to pour liquid past the DRINKABLE POUR-IN line, but try not to as it will create a huge mess when you go to spin the drink. Even having the liquid slightly below the line would work for the recipe.

Top with your favorite toppings. Whipped cream is a given, but you can also add some sprinkles, chocolate sauce or mini chocolate chips for an additional crunch.
