Birthday Nutella Cups

It's my birthday month!

I am not someone who likes celebrating their birthday. Or doing anything much different on that day other than eating a cake that my husband usually bakes me on that day.

But if I can use my birthday as an excuse to put sprinkles into everything I bake this month, then let me start with these Birthday Nutella Cups on repeat.

Variations and Substitutions

These Nutella cups are so versatile, you can switch them up however you like. Keep the sprinkles. Omit the sprinkles. Replace the sprinkles with your favourite topping. I have tried making Nutella cups with almost every mix-in you can imagine, and it always turns out great!

If you wanted to make it Valentine's themed since Valentine's Day is coming up, try heart sprinkles. Or St Patrick's day sprinkles. Or really whatever sprinkles you have on hand.

As someone who used to eat nutella off a spoon in my teenage years these were a real treat!!!
I loved that I could bit into them. I didn't add the sprinkles as I am not a fan of crunch in soft things (Can't stand nuts in brownies)
So these were indulgent pure nutella taste and I loved them!!!

These are such cute, delicious treats! We went sliding for my son's birthday party and I was looking for a portable treat to serve with hot chocolate instead of cake. These were perfect! The kids loved the sprinkles, obviously. I have a feeling I'll be requested to make these again soon!

My kids would love these! They are huge Nutella fans! Any suggestions on what I can use instead of coconut oil? I do not have any on hand.

    1. Sorry for the late reply! Coconut oil is one of the non-negotiables in this recipe unfortunately because it is the only oil that hardens when it gets cold.

  9. These cups are so fun! I love the sprinkles and nutella is one of my favorite flavors. Going to make these over the weekend, I can't wait!
