Honestly, once I start making recipes with taro powder, I can't stop.
What do you need to make this Taro Hot Chocolate?
You do need some taro powder for this hot chocolate. But apart from that, I am sure you have the rest of the ingredients at home:
- taro powder (I use this brand)
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- milk
That's it!
Once you buy the taro powder, I promise you won't stop making drinks with it! This summer, I have been making my Taro Bubble Tea on repeat, and I'm not even mad about it.
I'm definitely going to be making this recipe a lot more all the way through fall and winter when the weather starts to cool down.
The colour is so pretty, I just want to put taro powder in everything!!

Taro Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 tablespoon Taro powder
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a microwave safe mug, heat the milk in the microwave for 1 minute.
- Mix in the taro powder and cocoa powder until fully combined. Enjoy with marshmallows or whipped cream.
