Healthy Cinnamon Dolce Latte Oatmeal

Easy Healthy Cinnamon Dolce Latte Oatmeal recipe. It's like you are getting your favourite drink from Starbucks and a breakfast all in one bowl.

Healthy Cinnamon Dolce Latte Oatmeal

Oatmeal again. Is it really a shocker?

This one is inspired by the first drink I ever got at Starbucks: a cinnamon dolce latte. I can remember it so well.

I was in grade 8. There was a Starbucks by my school. My younger sister went there because her friends loved coffee. And she suggested it to me. My first time drinking an "adult drink", aka: one with coffee. And I fell in love.

Little did I know it was barely coffee, and mostly just sugar and milk. But at the time, I felt like a real grownup.

Funny how now when I am 29 and an actual adult, I don't really feel like a grownup.

The other day I was thinking back to my first Starbucks experience, and wanted to recreate it. But healthier of course. This Healthy Cinnamon Dolce Latte Oatmeal is the result.

(Of course I recreate it as an oatmeal instead of a drink. I'm getting a little predictable at this point.)

This oatmeal is so easy to make too! All you need is:

  • coffee
  • milk
  • oats
  • cinnamon
  • stevia
  • Greek yogurt

That's it!

Healthy Cinnamon Dolce Latte Oatmeal

Last year I was obsessed with my Snickerdoodle Oatmeal when I wanted my cinnamon fix in the morning. This year, it is going to be this oatmeal.

If only my grade 8 self could see me now. Have I achieved grownup status yet?
