Easy Easter Strawberry Baskets are the perfect last minute dessert or snack idea for Easter.
I wanted to get in on this Easter baking, but then again, I didn't have enough time to make something extraordinary. I'm going to have to settle for this super cute and easy treat!
Basically, I don't think that this really deserves a recipe. I mean, you can pretty much see what you need to do to make this. But since I spent so little effort actually making them, I may as well write out the step by step process. You can either make the baskets (picture above) or the nests (picture below).
And whatever you choose to make or not make, I wish each and every one of you a happy Easter!

Ingredients
- Strawberries
- Shredded sweetened coconut
- Mini Eggs
- Licorice sticks
Instructions
- Rinse the strawberries and cut off the leaf end with a paring knife. Cut enough off of the other side so that you can fill the strawberry.
- Spoon out a little well in the strawberry and sprinkle flaked coconut in it. Top with mini eggs. Cut off enough of the licorice strings for a basket handle. Stick the two ends into the strawberry.

Cathleen, these baskets are as adorable as can be! My kids are on spring break, they love strawberries, and we have the ingredients on hand. Me thinks they'd enjoy making (and devouring) a few. May you and yours have a happy Easter!
