Super easy to make Valentine’s Day Mini White Chocolate Cups recipe. The perfect dessert to make for your loved one, for your friends or as a treat for yourself.

One of my students asked me the other day what I would like more: roses or chocolate.
I am sure you can guess what I said.
Chocolate on Valentine’s Day is 100% a requirement for me. So now I made a chocolate specifically for Valentine’s Day. So that instead of going out and buying overpriced chocolate, you can make some personal “handmade” chocolates. Way more thoughtful, and probably a lot more delicious.

Seriously not joking about how overpriced Valentine’s Day chocolate is. I went in to my local grocery store the other day to see whether or not I wanted to buy some chocolate for John on Valentine’s Day.. only to find that the cheapest box of chocolate is around $20.
$20!!! I could buy lunch for that. On 3 separate days! They are scamming all of those suckers in love.
This is why my favourite day is the day after Valentine’s Day. It is called 75% off chocolate day, and I am a full supporter of it.

But in the meanwhile, I will be making these Valentine’s Day heart chocolates for John, waiting for February 15th where I can buy a cart load of chocolate, that will probably last us for.. around a week.
Yeah, we like chocolate around here.
And this chocolate satisfies all our needs. All you need is 3 ingredients:
- white chocolate chips
- coconut oil
- red food coloring
That is it!!

I am almost sure you have all of those ingredients at home. And if you don’t,well. I am sure they will cost less than $20 all together.
Make them for your Valentine. Make them for your best friend. Or, make them for yourself. Because we all deserve a little chocolate in our life now and again.
Even though now and again means everyday to me.

Valentine's Day Mini White Chocolate Cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 drop red food colouring gel
Instructions
- Line a mini muffin pan with 16 paper liners. Set aside.
- Place all of the ingredients except the food colouring in a microwave safe medium bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds and mix until smooth. If not fully melted, repeat the process until a smooth consistency forms.
- Divide evenly in the paper liners. Add a drop of red food colouring to the small remaining amount of chocolate in your bowl. Add drops of the coloured chocolate to your chocolate cups, and create hearts with a toothpick.
- Transfer to the freezer until hardened. Place in an airtight container, and store in the fridge or freezer.
