I have been craving some Tofu Pad See Ew Stir Fry for the past couple of days, but I haven't been able to find a restaurant that makes it the way I like it.

When you can't find someone to do it right, you just have to do it yourself.

If you haven't tried Tofu Pad See Ew Stir Fry, run. Don't walk. To your nearest asian restaurant. It is one of my favourite things to order, but now I don't know. When I can make it just as good at home, I almost don't want to order it anymore.

I got the fresh noodles from Imperfect Foods, but if they don't deliver to your location you can get fresh pad see ew noodles from Amazon as well.

What do you need to make this Tofu Pad See Ew Stir Fry?

It is actually pretty easy to make. All you need is:

  • tofu
  • oil
  • garlic
  • carrots
  • bell peppers
  • broccoli
  • stir fry sauce
  • fresh pad see ew noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • ¾ cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup stir fry sauce
  • 1 packet fresh pad see ew

Instructions

  • Using a tofu press, press the tofu to extract excess water (or create some system with paper towels and heavy pans to press out the water)
  • Cut the tofu into cubes.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Brown the tofu on all sides. Add in the garlic, carrot and red bell peppers. Cook for around 3 minutes.
  • Add in the broccoli and stir fry sauce. Cook for around 5-8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook pad see ew according to package instructions. Add into the stir fry and cook for around 2 minutes.
  • Serve in bowls and top with green onions.
