Ah, mornings. A time when the majority of us feel like our beds are the most comfortable thing in the world. Like we’re super-glued to our mattress, and it’s so warm that you don’t want to move anyways.
Well my friends, let me tell you that I have never actually experienced that feeling before.
Until today…
I’ve heard people describe this phenomenon, so I knew it was a real thing. Well I WAS skeptical the first time I heard it. I’ve never experienced it before, I love mornings! I just want to get up and enjoy the day. I’m usually up by, at the latest 5:30. So today, when I FINALLY got up this morning, I was SO hungry.
Making and eating a whole skillet was what I did. And boy was it fabulous. No wonder people say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
What you’ll need:
-2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
-1 teaspoon seasoning salt
-1 tablespoon butter
-2 large white mushrooms, sliced
-1 sweet Italian sausage
-1/4 cup chopped spinach
-2 large eggs
Directions:
1. Fill a large saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes, and cover until potatoes are tender.
2. On a lightly sprayed skillet, fry the potatoes and add the seasoning salt. Set aside when potatoes are brown.
3. On the same skillet, melt the butter. Fry the sausage. When fully cooked, chop sausage into small pieces, then add the mushrooms. Fry for a few minutes until mushrooms are browned. Set aside with the potatoes.
4. On the same skillet, fry the eggs to your preference. Remove, and place the potatoes, mushrooms and sausages on the skillet and mix in the spinach. Place eggs on top and enjoy!

Now thats a true breakfast for champions. I've herd of this as well but have yet to try it. It's officially on my list 🙂
I would like to start every morning with this delicious skillet!
Looks perfect after a late night!
I love breakfast hash's like this! So delicious.
Mmm, this looks fantastic! I'd probably make it for dinner instead of breakfast though, I always eat my breakfast foods at weird times!
This would be a fabulous quick brekkie too whip up for my daddy 😀
Thank you!
Cheers

I'm an early riser too. I don't normally eat a big breakfast, but this one looks delicious!
