I love making simple food. Especially 3 ingredient food, such as my Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or my ice cream cake doughnut. Or my two ingredient Greek yogurt frosting. Easy should be my middle name…that is, only if people won’t interpret it wrong.
So this morning when I woke up, I wanted something quick and easy to just drink and go. So I made this smoothie.
I love putting frozen bananas in my smoothies, because it makes the smoothie all frosty and slushy.. It’s as if you put ice cream in your drink without all the extra calories and fat. This is why I always have a couple of bags of bananas cut into coins in my freezer.
I will definitely remember this drink the next time I am in a hurry to make breakfast. In other words, probably every day during this upcoming school year.
I made this Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie twice in the past 24 hours. THAT’S how good it is.
You remember those peanut butter and banana sandwiches? It is like that, but in an easy, portable form.
I’m thinking this will be my new go-to grab and go breakfast idea.
I feel like I am always so busy in the mornings, this recipe would be a welcome comfort when I am all groggy and now quite awake.
