Fruity Melted Marshmallow Soy Hot Chocolate
Have you ever had the feeling where your legs are on fire and every step you take makes you feel like you are going to collapse and lie there the rest of the day?
Well, I have mislead you. Even though I was expecting that to happen to me, I have successfully avoided becoming a stiff wreck. Let me explain..
On Saturday, me and my boyfriend climbed the Stawamus Chief, and I have got to say, it's quite the hike. By the end of the day, my legs were shaking from all the effort. But it was so worth it. It was one of the most gorgeous hikes I have ever been on. We went to the second peak (there are 3 peaks) and didn't want to leave. To make it more user-friendly, this hike has chains and ladders at some very hard parts to help you along. If anyone visits BC, they should go straight to the Squamish area. I would definitely urge them to try this out.
Needless to say, after this long hike, we needed something to gather our strengths. Since I have experimented with melted marshmallow hot chocolate before, I thought, why not try it with fruity marshmallows? Fruit and chocolate go together well...right?
Right. This was surprisingly good, and very comforting. A great thing to make before the weather gets too hot to have hot drinks.
Fruity Melted Marshmallow Soy Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 4 teaspoon water
- 1 cup soy milk
- 2 tablespoon chocolate chips
- ¼ cup mini fruit marshmallows
- whipped cream
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients on medium heat. Bring to an easy boil while you stir, until chocolate and marshmallows are melted.
- Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream.
