So it is the beginning of the New Year. Time to reboot. To have new aspirations and turn over a new leaf.
I will give you some free advice right now. Do not go to the gym for a week. It will be absolutely packed with people with good intentions and high hopes. It will die by the end of the month, I am sure of it.
Actually, I kept my New Years resolution from last year! It was to floss everyday. Best. Resolution. Ever.
So what will it be this year? Maybe to make healthier…breakfasts?
Let’s do it. And we can start with this oatmeal.
As you can see, I am not giving up my oatmeal eating habits for the New Year.
And why should I? I just googled what the best foods to eat for breakfast, and the first result was oatmeal. The perfect New Years breakfast, don’t you think?
Caramelized bananas are something of my childhood. My mom would “accidentally” burn everything, then call it “caramelized”. Bananas were some of the things that she would “caramelize” often. But sometimes it was foods that are definitely not supposed to be caramelized. Like: “The toast isn’t burnt, it’s caramelized”.
But actually trying to caramelize something? This is definitely something that I am loving in my adulthood.
Maybe this oatmeal would taste amazing alongside some caramelized toast?
