Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

If you know me at all, you know how much I love oatmeal.

Like, I really really love oatmeal. Just check out my collection of oatmeal recipes.

You may also know that I hate making cinnamon rolls. Don't get me wrong, I love eating cinnamon rolls. But I just don't like spending hours in the morning getting them ready. Because I am always STARVING as soon as I wake up.

I don't know why it took me so long to think of making a Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal.

Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

This is way easier to make than cinnamon rolls, plus it uses very few ingredients. All you need is:

  • oats
  • milk
  • chia seeds
  • cinnamon
  • cream cheese
  • butter
  • powdered sugar

That's it!

Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

My swirl is a little wonky on this oatmeal, but who really cares what the swirl looks like when you have something that tastes this good?

It's almost like having dessert for breakfast, and it is actually fairly healthy. I mean, definitely healthier than a cinnamon roll.
