So here we are. In the summer (basically). Time to make as many ice cream recipes as my freezer can handle. First ice cream of the summer? This Chips Ahoy Pudding Ice Cream.

What do you need to make this Chips Ahoy Pudding Ice Cream?

This recipe doesn't use whipping cream or eggs. All you need is:

  • milk
  • sugar
  • evaporated milk
  • cool whip
  • instant vanilla pudding
  • Chips Ahoy cookies

That's it!

Of course, you can put whatever cookie you have on hand. Have some Oreos? Put that in! 

Alternatively, you can add in chocolate chips, sprinkles, fruit.. the list goes on! Customize this ice cream however you want, the possibilities are endless.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • ½ cup cool whip
  • ½ (102g) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 10 chips ahoy cookies

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the cookies with an electric mixer until fully combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, and process according to manufacturer’s instructions. About 5 minutes before the ice cream is done, add in the cookies. 
  • When the ice cream is done, pour into an airtight container, and freeze until ready to serve.
