These Peanut Butter Swirl Nutella Cups make a quick and easy no bake sweet treat. It has the perfect mix of peanut butter and creamy Nutella.
I cannot stop making (and eating) these Peanut Butter Swirl Nutella Cups. Last night, I think I ate around 8 of them in one sitting. These little cups are so addicting, every time I go to the grocery store I end up buying more Nutella.
Most of the time when I buy Nutella I end up making chewy cookies with it. There is nothing like the taste of freshly baked cookies, especially Nutella ones. But because it is the summer and I definitely do not want to turn on my oven to bake cookies, these Nutella cups are the perfect no bake solution. I am going to save the Nutella cookie recipes for the holiday season. Or for World Nutella day in February.
The first time I made Nutella cups was around 8 years ago. Ever since then, I have made many great recipes that are different versions of the original Nutella cups. They are so good, me and my husband can often polish off the whole thing in one night. The hardest thing about this recipe is the wait time while the Nutella cups harden. I often make a double batch just so that we can save some for another day. I’m certain that if you make it, they will be a new family favorite in your house too.
Peanut Butter Swirl Nutella Cups Ingredients
These mini Nutella cups are just made with 3 simple ingredients. All you need is:
- Nutella
- coconut oil
- creamy peanut butter
Equipment
Tips
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Do not leave at room temperature, as it will become liquid.
What type of peanut butter to use? You can use either regular or natural peanut butter, as long as it is the creamy variety. Crunchy peanut butter will not work as it won’t be easy to swirl.
Add in your favorite mix-in. If you wanted to make them even more decadent, try sprinkling some chocolate chips or peanut butter chips on top. Roasted peanuts would also be a great addition.
Use a cookie scoop. Use a medium or large cookie scoop to make scooping the batter into the muffin pan easier. I personally think that this medium cookie scoop is the perfect size for scooping the batter.
