If you have been pregnant: what was the drink that you were looking forward to having the most after having your baby?
For me, it may sound basic but I have been wanting a Malibu and Coke so badly.
I still have a month to go, but in the meantime, I will be making this Malibu and Coke for my husband every night. You know. To give him hints about the kind of service I expect.
I was never (and still am not) really a drinker. You should not ask me what drinks are good because I honestly wouldn’t know.
I only just discovered Malibu and Coke while following an influencer on Instagram who is obsessed with it. Ever since then, I have been making it and loving it.
Then I got pregnant. And I have been missing it ever since.
What do you need to make this Malibu and Coke?
It is so easy, I am almost embarrassed to give you the recipe. But in case you don’t know:
- ice
- Malibu rum
- coke
That’s it!
I even added ice as an ingredient to make the list look longer.
My go-to drink recipe used to be Gin and Tonic. Specifically Empress Gin and Elderflower Tonic. I don’t know what to say, I love a good 2 ingredient drink recipe. Looking forward to both of them in a month. After meeting the baby, of course!

Malibu and Coke
Ingredients
- 5 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup Malibu rum
- 3/4 cup coke
Instructions
- In a highball glass, add the ice.
- Pour the Malibu and Coke over the ice and enjoy!
Notes
- Can adjust the amount of coke to your liking.
