Chocolate Raspberry Protein Smoothie

The weather is starting to warm up.

FINALLY!

Now instead of oatmeal, I am craving smoothies and ice cream. And this Chocolate Raspberry Protein Smoothie is happening on repeat in my kitchen.

The best part about this smoothie is that it is made with only 3 ingredients:

  • frozen raspberries
  • chocolate protein powder
  • milk

That's it!!

My thinking about making this smoothie is that if I make enough protein smoothies, I will be inspired to work out.

As of right now, it isn't working. But I have been drinking a lot of smoothies, which is always a  plus.

Between this smoothie and my Chocolate Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie, I am starting to feel like I am on the verge of starting a workout routine. I even bought a stationary bike the other day.

But the stationary bike ships in 45 days, and my bed seems to call my name after I pour this smoothie into my mason jar.

My only concern is that I used up the last of my frozen raspberries this morning. And I haven't been able to find frozen fruit in weeks.

I guess that is a concern for another time. Right now, I am going to enjoy the last of my smoothie. And hope that I can find some frozen fruit today to continue my obsession.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ scoop chocolate protein powder
  • cup milk of choice

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

    So simple, so delicious and so filling. I don't know about you but I drink a lot of smoothies, especially in the summer. It's great when I get more protein into my kiddos and they just think it's a yummy treat.
