3 ingredient Blueberry Milkshake made with vanilla ice cream. This drink is so refreshing and such an easy recipe to make!
Okay, okay. One last berry recipe before I dive headfirst into fall baking.
I am only going to stop making recipes with berries as soon as the stores stop selling them. Or until they get too expensive for the cheapskate that I am.
Which means Blueberry Milkshakes on repeat for the next few days!
I have been searching for the perfect Blueberry Milkshake everywhere. At restaurants, fast food chains, roadside vendors.. nothing has tasted quite right. I remember going to my FAVOURITE restaurant in Vancouver that sells the BEST milkshakes. I usually get vanilla or strawberry, but I have never tried their Blueberry Milkshake. So I order it, and believe me when I say that this was the worst milkshake I have ever had in my life. It tasted nothing like blueberry! Instead, it was more of a sweet garlic drink. How can you mess up a drink that badly??
All this searching has forced me to try my hand at making a Blueberry Milkshake of my own. And I think I have found THE ONE!
After taking the photos for this recipe and drinking BOTH of the milkshakes that I made, I regretted not putting whipped cream on top. Right now, these milkshakes look more like smoothies than they do decadent, ice cream filled beverages. But, I wanted to share the recipe with you all NOW in case you are all looking for the perfect Blueberry Milkshake recipe.
Whipped cream totally optional.
The best thing about milkshakes are that you can just put all of the ingredients in a blender, press a button and BOOM. It is ready. It takes literally 3 minutes to make, so you don’t have an excuse NOT to make it!
Trust me. Take advantage of the warmish weather now to enjoy cold beverages.
Although, to be honest, I am probably going to continue making cold beverages throughout the fall season. Pumpkin milkshake anyone?

Thank you for this amazing milkshake recipe, made it today while in isolation sitting on our deck. I have an abundance of Blueberries in my freezer from last summer. The whipped cream on top is truly not an option, it finishes it off perfectly.

Had a craving for blueberry milkshake but realized I was out of vanilla ice cream but there was butterscotch ripple and it is surprising delicious.
