This Extra-Bold Chex Mix is the best snack to have on hand for game days or movie nights. A fan favorite in my house for sure!

I know that a lot of people usually make Chex mix around the holiday season, but with the Superbowl coming up this weekend, I felt like it was time for a good Chex mix recipe to appear on my website.
This Bold Chex Mix recipe is like your traditional Chex mix but with a more bold flavor. It’s such a great snack to take on road trips, have for movie nights or to watch the big game on Sunday. I am such a sucker for Chex mix, if I’m not paying attention I will eat the whole bowl. This recipe will for sure be your go-to snack mix for when you want a savory treat.

Bold Chex Mix Ingredients
This Original Chex Mix Recipe is so easy to make. All you need is:
- Wheat Chex cereal
- Corn Chex cereal
- Rice Chex cereal
- Small pretzels
- Cheerios
- Cashews
- Peanuts
- Melted butter
- Worcestershire sauce
- Regular or seasoning salt
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder

Tips
Storage: Make sure that you cool the Chex mix completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Don’t have mini pretzels? Extra mini pretzels, pretzel sticks or a square pretzel mix are great alternatives. If you don’t have those, you can use bagel chips or rye chips.
Replace the Worcestershire sauce. I honestly think that this is the secret ingredient in this mix, but if you don’t want to go to the grocery store for some you can replace it with 2 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce and 2 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice.
