Easy Cranberry Bliss Bars recipe. These Starbucks copycat sweet treats are perfect for dessert or with a cup of coffee.
Who is ready for all things Christmas related? Because same.
As soon as Halloween is over, I am 100% in Christmas mode. I don’t wait for Thanksgiving to be over. As a Canadian, our Thanksgiving has already passed. So bring on the egg nog, peppermint, and most importantly, Cranberry Bliss Bars!
The Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks might be one of my favourite things about the holidays. I used to buy them almost daily when I was in university.
I even made Cranberry Bliss Oatmeal to feed my obsession. But for some reason, I don’t have a recipe for a homemade version of the actual bars on my site.
THIS NEEDED TO CHANGE!
I shared some of these bars with my colleagues, and they all said that it tastes almost identical to the ones from Starbucks.
But don’t take their word for it. You be the judge and try it yourself! They make a delicious treat to bring to your holiday parties, or just to give to people as a holiday gift. I can’t stop making (or eating) these bars.
Cranberry Bliss Bars Ingredients
These copycat Starbucks cranberry bliss bars just uses all of my pantry essentials. All you need is:
Buttery blondie base:
- butter
- dark brown sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- all purpose flour
- baking powder
- salt
- cinnamon
- dried cranberries
- white chocolate chips
Cream cheese frosting:
- cream cheese
- powdered sugar
- white chocolate chips
- orange flavored dried cranberries
Tips
Storage: Store these cranberry bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. If you are stacking them, add a layer of wax paper between each layer to avoid having the top of the bars sticking to the ones on top. I would not recommend storing them at room temperature as they become fairly messy.
Freezing: These bars freeze very well. Just place them in a freezer-safe container, and freeze for up to 3 months. If using a larger bag or container, make sure you cover each bar in either plastic wrap or separate the bars using parchment paper.
Don’t have orange flavored cranberries? The Starbuck’s cranberry bliss bars have a hint of orange flavors, so I would recommend either adding in some fresh orange zest or a couple of drops of orange extract to the cream cheese icing.
Gluten free version: If you replace the all-purpose flour with gluten free flour (this one is my favorite) it makes a great gluten free treat!
Making the white chocolate drizzle: in a microwave-safe bowl (or using the double boiler method), melt some white baking chocolate. Then place in a piping bag or a large Ziploc bag. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag, and add a drizzle of white chocolate over top of the cooled bars.
