The sun is out. The weather is so nice and yet.. And yet I’m missing all the flavors of the winter. The warm drinks, pumpkin, gingerbread… But who says we can’t have them all year round right?
I’ve got to say, the moment I put this drink to my mouth, I thought I was at Starbucks, sipping away on one of their drinks on a cold, cold night. This has got to be my new favorite drink, and what’s even better? I can make it at home, oh what joy!
I know, you may find it weird that I’m making all these warm drinks as it approaches summer. I’ve got to say though, summer doesn’t make me any warmer. I am perpetually cold, at no matter what kind of weather. At the beach, you can spot me so easily. Everyone else is in bikinis..bikini, bikini, wait, what is that big lump of sweaters over there? Oh wait, no, that’s only Cathleen. I PILE them on. So getting me in the water is an even bigger challenge. And so while everyone else will be at the beach, sipping lemonade and punch, I will be on my porch with a blanket wrapped around me, sipping on this wonderful warm beverage.
