Gingerbread Latte

- 1 1/2 Tbsp golden corn syrup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp whipping cream
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- whipped cream to top
Heat the corn syrup, milk, whipping cream, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in a medium saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a simmer (do not boil).
Meanwhile, brew the 1/4 cup of strong coffee. Pour into a mug, and pour the ginger mixture on top. Top with whipped cream.
- To make this drink vegan, switch the milk for a non-dairy milk and the whipping cream to a vegan version. I find that oat milk works best with this drink.
