Peppermint Bark

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoon coconut oil divided
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 7 oz white chocolate chips
  • 3 candy canes crushed

Instructions

  • Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
  • In a medium microwave safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon coconut oil in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth. Mix in the peppermint extract.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan. Place in the fridge to harden, around 30 minutes.
  • In a medium microwave safe bowl, microwave the white chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon coconut oil in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth.
  • Pour the white chocolate on top of the hardened chocolate layer, and spread out evenly with a silicone or offset spatula. Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top. Refrigerate until hardened, around 30 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy!
